15-10-14 - no horn day in Lagos

Tomorrow Wednesday 15th of October 2014 has been set aside by the Lagos state government as a ‘no horn’ day for motorists in the state.

It was stated that this move was taken as an effort to reduce noise pollution on the roads at the same time cultivating respect for other road users.
It will also help to maintain and encourage discipline on the road at the same time improving road use courtesy. The Lagos state government also hopes the initiative would encourage a positive road use attitude from motorists, and develope better road-user friendly Lagosians
